At its core is Babolat's CoPET-C co-polyester construction, engineered through a unique factory extrusion process that produces unprecedented power output for a monofilament string. Unlike the octagonal RPM Blast or RPM Team, the RPM Power uses a round profile, which reduces friction between mains and crosses and lets the string bed pocket the ball more deeply on impact. That deeper pocketing translates into a longer dwell time and a more explosive launch off the string bed — the mechanism behind the added power this string delivers over the rest of the RPM lineup.
