BABOLAT Pure Drive Junior 26 Gen11 Tennis Racket

The Pure Drive Junior 26 Gen11 is not a toy version of a grown-up racket. It's built on a graphite frame with a 16/19 string pattern, diamond-shaped FSI grommets, and a plastic protective strip - all working together to push power and depth on every groundstroke.

NF2 Tech 2.0 is built into the frame — a 100% unidirectional natural flax fabric that filters vibrations at impact, keeping the feel clean without dulling the power behind the shot. For a junior who plays several sessions a week, that matters. Less arm fatigue, more time on court.

At 26 inches, this is one of the largest junior rackets available, suited to players standing between 140 and 150 cm tall. The 250g unstrung weight is easy to swing, and the 100in² head keeps the sweet spot generous enough to build confidence on off-centre hits.

The HTR System reinforces the hoop for added stability. When your junior starts swinging faster as they develop, the frame holds steady — no wobble, no lost power. The racket mirrors the explosive power and easy spin of the full-sized Pure Drive models, in a format ready for green or yellow ball play on a full-size court. Comes pre-strung, tension-set, ready to play.

Q: What age is the Babolat Pure Drive Junior 26 Gen11 designed for?

It's built for players aged around 11 and up — specifically those standing between 140 and 150 cm tall. At 26 inches, it's one step down from a full adult frame, making it the right bridge for juniors growing into competitive tennis.

Q: Does it come pre-strung?

Yes, the Pure Drive Junior 26 Gen11 ships pre-strung and ready to play. The recommended string tension range is 42–51 lbs, so you can adjust tension when it's time for a restring.

Q: What is FSI Power technology and why does it matter for junior players?

FSI Power technology uses a wider string spacing combined with diamond-shaped grommets to expand the effective sweet spot. Even off-centre hits produce more consistent and forceful strokes — which is exactly what helps a junior build confidence and rally more consistently. My Racket Sports

Q: How is the Junior 26 different from the adult Pure Drive Gen11?

The Junior 26 is one inch shorter (26" vs 27") and significantly lighter at 250g vs the adult's 300g. The grip is also smaller (size 00) to fit younger hands. The core technologies — FSI Power, NF2 Tech 2.0, HTR System — carry over from the adult line, so the playing character is similar, just in a more manageable format.
